Soooo, it has been almost a year now, and altough I have been doing some stuff, I had my deviant site almost forgotten... But a recent talk with a friend made me remember to update my gallery, so I uploaded three new pieces, Poker vedettes, Baila! and Pulpobama. Hope to have more time now to keep on drawing and updating (at least 4 updates a year ), my life has been in a rush lately...

The last months I have been quite busy (actually the last whole year) so I did not have too much time for drawing. Anyway, I had this crazy idea of making little insect stickers you can carry on your wallet and put everywhere, with a funny little eye like you are being observed. So I just took some insect photos from the Internet, b/w vectorized them and put them all together in a DIN-A4 sheet ready to be printed. Just an excuse to evade myself from real obligations...

Long time since my last update, but I have been quite busy the last months, specially now with my research work. Hope to find more time for painting...
Anyway, I posted in the gallery a work I did for a friend who was leaving Brussels. I love painting over posters or pictures, even working on them as a collage. I guess it comes from the boredom during my classes at school, when I used to paint on the books.

Yellow butterflies.
And yellow flowers.
They appear often in the book I'm reading now, "Cien años de soledad" (One hundred years of solitud), by Gabriel Garcia-Marquez. A masterpiece (even if some people dislike its mess with the character names) that I got in a second-hand library for 0.50 euros. I love the magical realism in it, and what these yellow icons symbolize. That's what inspired me to do an MSN avatar with it... next is changing my nick to Arcan Babilonia.
